Infant/Baby (0-12 months)
Your world has flipped turned upside down! Having a newborn, and then infant changes the way you sleep, eat, work, play and live life! This stage of development can be a roller coaster of emotion and change. The great news is that even from the moment your child enters your arms, you start to influence their development significantly! Behavior analysis can be applied to so many different areas, even at such an incredibly young age. The newborn phase is typically considered 0 to 2 months and the infant stage goes from 2 months to 1 year. In the newborn phase, you can engage in specific activities to help your baby learn language and early socialization skills. You can even help them (and you!) learn to sleep well, feed, and play! The tiny human brain is an amazing sponge, soaking up every experience. As your baby ages and enters the infant phase, your efforts will become even more focused, and your baby will give you tons of feedback based on what you do with them.
